Jacob Hendrik Geerlings 1859 – 1939
Geerlings lived and worked in Amsterdam,
teacher and also director of an artsociety in Arnhem.
Geerlings was a student on the Royal Academy in Amsterdam,
his teachers were Allebe and Kaiser and Stang.
He was on his best painting soldiers and soldiers on horseback,
of the so called “yellow brigade”. Completely restaured!
