Pieter Johannes Alexander Wagemans        1879 – 1955

Wagemans was originally a home and decorative painter.
At one point he decided to take the palette in hand. He painted
mostly cityscapes and sometimes harbors, although landscapes
and still lifes of him are also known.
His field of work was in The Hague, and surroundings,
his birth and living city. His work has usually a high quality.
