Hans van Vuuren 1939 –
My name is Hans van Vuuren (Bilthoven 1939). I studied at the Artibus Academy in Utrecht. My great inspiration at that time is my teacher, the landscape painter Harm Post.
He encourages me to take on the ” fight ” with the white surface and to paint in oil paint, and he also teaches me not to be satisfied with it too quickly.
As a result, a way of working that appeals to me and which I have applied over the years and which resulted in the paintings I made.
