Christiaan Gerrit Polder       1897 – 1981

Polder lived and worked in The Hague. He was also a barber.
He had his education on the Art school in The Hague. He was
a member of “Arti Industriae”. He made several studytrips to France.

He made several paintings of Dordrecht, because he liked the surroundings
there very much. Some of his works can be seen in the museum of Dordrecht.
Impressionistic style. He had great talent using the shadows and the sun.
